Group members

I don't really like my new group.

I wish that we need not change our old groups.

If we can change our NEW groupings, I want to include Leow Xin Yi in my group (I would concentrate in class and will not chat with her most of the time unless we need to. pls pls pls pls pls............ )

I do not want to be the second leader in command cos it needs a lot of responsibility and the other members will depend on the leaders and will expect us to think of ideas for projects and boss us around sometimes.

Another reason is that I have been a leader in P5 in group 4 and in P6 Science group 2.

I don't know what to expect from my new group members..............

I didn't achieve my targets for Science, Maths and Higher Mother Tongue.

But I am quite happy with my results. My parents and tuition teachers are also very pleased with my results.

How am I going to achieve good results for the next exam

-always follow the timetable my mother gave me

-do not often watch TV while doing HW (cannot focus very well)

-concentrate in class (do not talk to friends when unnecessary)

-hand in HW on time

-do all HW properly

-sleep well every night *important*

How have I grown to be a maturing student

I have learn how not to rely on other people so much, how to cope with stress,manage my own time

Monday

Today is the first day of the month February. We did a poster for Total Defence Day during art period. I wrote a pledge for my Total Defence poster. We can either hand it in today ,tomorrow or next Monday.

Tuesday

I did my Total Defence poster yesterday when I got home, but I have forgotten to bring it today.

Wednesday

Today, my mum and dad brought my sister and I to Swensens. The food and ice cream was very delicious and yummy. My mum went to the PSLE talk and meet the teachers programme.

Thursday

stay back, stay back until 3.3o. Later, have tuition at 7.30

Friday

bad weather :( , actually leow xinyi wants to come to my grandparent's house to play badminton after structured progamme.But her science teacher let her out when it is 3.45 , which is very,very late. In the end, the rain was heavier, we had to walk to my grandparent's house which got us all wet and soaked like a sponge. After the rain stop, we finally got to play badminton. :)

What is graciousness?

It is a person that is
-polite
-respectful
-generous
-kind

Why is it important for the society to embrace the value of graciousness?

So, our society will be a better place.

Give examples of good acts of graciousness

-clap your hands after you see a show, skit or other things to show your appriciation
-do not vandalise public objects as it belongs to everybody, not just one person
-respect one another including ourselves

Today's Assembly Talk

Today's assembly talk is on Responsibility in words and deeds. It is one of our school's core values. We must not only conduct responsibility in words only, we must also conduct it in deeds.

Monday

Today, I have lots of homework to do, tuition homework, school homework and others. Furthermore I have to stay back until 3.oo for chinese structured, I am very tired today.

Tuesday

Today we have PE lessons. Our PE teacher, tought us the correct position to stand and the correct way to swing the racket when playing badminton. He told us to find a partner to practise. Firstly, we started off by throwing a ball to each other. Secondly, we need to imagine that there is a ball, we need to swing the ball with our badminton rackets.

Wednesday

Today, I did not need to stay back (yay....). I said yay as I do not like to stay back as I will not have enough time to rest and do my homework. And I have to stay back on most of the days. I will try my best to manage my time.

Thursday

Today...,I need to stay back until 3.30 for higher chinese sturctured.

Friday

Today, I have english and maths structured. For english, we did a composition on graciousness. I did not finish it so I brought it home and do. For maths, we did worksheets on angles. I went home with my sister today.

Monday

Today I have a lot of homework. For maths we did word problems. I have to finish my homework before I can play my computer or go down to play.

Tuesday

Idid my tuition homework today. After doing it, I went down to play with my sister and baby brother.

Wednesday

Today I have piano lessons at 5.45 . I am relieved that I am not late today as I was prepared by 5.30 . My piano teacher, Miss Chua gave me one page of theory homework today.

Thusday

Today I have to stay back until 3.3o as I have higher chinese structured today. I walked to my grandparent's house today as my dad was too busy to drive me there.

Friday

My group and I stayed back today to do up our group boards until 3.oo . I went to gate A and waited for my sister until 3.30, we went home together afterwards.

Monday

Today's the first day of school. I was quite surprised that Mdm Yeo is still my form teacher(same as last year). Well, we did a introduction about our hobbies, name, what we like and lots more.......

Tuesday

I woke up late today because I slept late last night (haha....). I attended math class today and found out that my friend, Joan, is in the same math class as me . I am very happy to know this :)

Wednesday

oh ya... we had phototaking session in the morning. It is for the smart card. Xin Yi came to my house today, we played badminton and rollerbladed.
